Finally, nightlife and entertainment within feet of the Centerfield Gate.  We don't want to complain and ask, "What took you so long?"  So we'll just enjoy the new Bullpen Outdoor Beer Garden, just steps from the Half Street Metro exit.  My colleague Brian reported on this development getting started and now the notoriously slow DC Government has quickly approved it.  
I've attended similar block party concepts around the country, including a recent St. Patrick's Day party in Atlanta, and they all seem to draw big crowds.  The Going Out Gurus detail all kinds of fun the developer is proposing.  Best draw for me is the three great words, "Dewey Beach Bands".  Let's hope they draw in some of the spirit from our favorite Dewey Bar, The Starboard.
The Developer plans to open The Bullpen for the April 30th game.
